Thunder Mountain Longhorn

The Thunder Mountain Longhorn is in my humble opinion it's the most beautiful of the Chillies thanks to its incredible length that can reach and exceed 30 cm. The plant is very large and forms a rain of very long Chilli peppers, as you can see from the photos with that wonderful subject that is the undersigned Carlo Martini (ahhahaah).

It is a Chili pepper originating from the Thunder Mountains in China, it is a Capsicum Annuum and it is not very spicy, around 10.000 Shu less then a Cayenna, but its rarity and its incredible shape, sometimes rolled up, make it really unique, everyone will look incredulous this plant that can reach even 2 meters in height with its fabulous fruits. It is very good even in spicy Oil of Olive, look at the Spicy Recipes page to make a perfect Spicy Olive Oil!
