Uchu Cream

The Uchu Cream is a Variegated Chili Pepper originally from Japan characterized by cream-colored variegated foliage and red erect fruits. It is considered the best Chilli Pepper Plant in the world for ornamental purposes due to its compact size of maximum 40 cm in height by 30 cm in diameter, for the splendid cream / green color of the leaves and for the beautiful erect fruits that ripen from green, orange and finally red. In the kitchen it is little used, in Japan it is sometimes used for the spicy powder which takes on a slightly spicy and herbaceous flavor. May also be called Maya Uchu.
