Red Bhutlah

The Red Bhutlah is the Red variant of the well-known Brown Bhutlah, a powerful Super Hot Pepper with an elongated but wide shape, wrinkled skin, a fiery red color, a decidedly threatening appearance and an extreme, almost unbearable spiciness! It is not known with certainty where it can be placed on the Scoville Scale, for now it is around 1.800.000 Shu.

Usually the Brown and Chocolate Peppers are used for sauces, meats and important dishes, while the Reds more for pasta, pizza and oil, but in the case of Bhutlah the power is so vast that only experts can feel a distinct taste.

The Scale of Scoville is the instrument by which the presence of Capsicin is measured and therefore the spiciness of a Chili Pepper, the higher the value, the greater the degree of spiciness, for example the classic Red Cayenna Pepper that can be found in any supermarket does not go beyond 30,000 Shu, so understand well that the Red Bhutlah with its 1,800,000 Shu, is something really extreme.
