Tomato Rio Grande

The Rio Grande Tomato is a vigorous plant of enormous productivity with a determined habit, it creates egg-shaped fruits with firm skin, firm pulp of an intense red color weighing approximately 90 grams. It is an ideal tomato for peeled tomatoes, sauces and concentrates as well as San Marzano and Roma Tomatoes. The fully ripe fruits, cut and salted, are dried in the sun or in the oven and consumed throughout the winter.
