The Santorini Volcanic Tomato was born in Thera, the real name of Santorini in Greece, the island that inspired Plato when he described Atlantis. It is a small, red tomato known for growing on volcanic soil, therefore presenting the usual magic of the taste of a tomato that grows on volcanic soil near the sea, like our Italian Piennolo.

The flavor of this Greek Tomato is authentic, full, very sweet, with an excellent balance with acidity, which is perceived well, but without excess. In cooking it can be used both raw and for sauces. Good resistance of the plant to plant diseases and low water requirements, it does not suffer from apical rot, suitable for hot summers where water stress can occur.
