The Thai Basil is an upright plant with pointed leaves and pink flowers. It is widely used in Oriental Cuisine due to its strong taste with an aftertaste reminiscent of anise, mint, citrus, licorice, cinnamon and clove. Sow from May to July in large but not deep pots such as planters with universal compost (90%) and pumice stone or expanded clay (10%), place the seeds about half a cm deep, water once and keep it all. shade until the seedlings are born, which should happen within 4 - 6 days.
