Pumpkin Turk's Turban

The Turk's Turban Pumpkin, also called Mushroom Pumpkin is an ornamental but edible, large and irregular Pumpkin variety, with lumpy and thick skin, of French origin. It is also widely used as an ornamental pumpkin and has the particularity of being preserved for a long time. The dimensions at harvest generally vary from 2 to 5 kg, although fruits of almost 7 kg can be found, it has a fleshy pulp with a floury consistency. The beauty of the fruits repays the mediocre quality pulp; it has an aromatic, almost sweet taste.
