Delica is small, rounded, with a smooth, dark green skin and orange flesh. The flavor of the Pumpkin, once cooked, is very sweet. It is rich in Carotenes with Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, contains Calcium, Potassium, Sodium, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Vitamin E. In addition, it has diuretic and calming properties and a high number of fibers that help rebalance the intestinal flora.

The Delica Pumpkin was born from a cross of Japanese origins, it can be eaten whole: in addition to the Pulp, the Peel, Seeds, Leaves, Flowers and Sprouts are edible. This Pumpkin, if whole, can be kept in the dark for 6 or 7 months without deteriorating, while once opened it must be consumed within 3 or 4 days.
