Carrot Cosmic Purple

The Cosmic Purple Carrot is the real Carrot, native to the area where Afghanistan is today and dating back to 5,000 years ago. In the early 1500s, to pay homage to the Dutch Royals called "Orange" it was decided to change the color of the Carrot from Purple to Orange, the scientists of the time through various experiments and natural genetic crosses succeeded in the enterprise, since then the Orange Carrot was the most commercially widespread reaching up to the present day. The negative aspect of this matter is that the Purple Carrot is, however, ernomly richer in nutrients compared to the Orange one, in fact the Purple Carrot is rich in Polyphenols, Flavonoids and in particular Anthocyanins, Antioxidant substances also present in grapes and all black fruits, such as Blueberries, Plums, which are good for blood circulation and which fight Free Radicals by slowing down aging. The flavor of the Purple Carrot is similar to that of the Orange Carrot but contains much less Sugar and many Vitamins such as A, C and group B and is rich in Mineral Salts, such as Iron, Calcium, Potassium and Selenium.
