Aji Amarillo

The Aji Amarillo is a beautiful Capsicum Baccatum Pepper from Peru, famous for its elongated shape, fruity and slightly pungent taste, it is in fact around 10,000 Shu. Its color is yellow, as its name indicates, but when it is ripe it can reach orange. It is not very hot but it is well known for its culinary value, in fact it is widely used in all Latin cuisine, for example in the fish dish called Chevice it is a fundamental ingredient, take a look at the Spicy Recipes page and you will find various cooking ideas. It is rich in Vitamin C and Antioxidants. The plants of this Chili pepper can exceed even 2 meters in height.
