The Pumpkin Tonda Padana is native to Central America, but after abundant selections we can consider it an Italian Pumpkin, it is very recognizable for its pronounced ribs and the large and woody peduncle, it is very popular in the Mantuan and Cremona areas for Tortelli and Mostarda. It takes very hot to ripen, in about 120 days, the fruits that are also excellent for zucchini if picked tender. The pulp, orange, has an excellent flavor, like the large seeds it contains, in fact this pumpkin is also called "the pig of the poor" in the sense that it is eaten all.

It is sown between March and April in pots, transplanted outdoors in May, giving at least 4 square meters per plant of space. Once the Pumpkin has been detached, it can be left to dry in the sun for a few days, and can also be kept for months without deteriorating.

One sachet of this delight contains 10 Seeds which will be more than enough for a great harvest.
