Fish Pepper

The Fish Pepper is a chilli pepper with green and cream white variegated foliage, it owes its name to the fact that it would be the ideal chilli pepper to combine with fish. The pods are conical in shape, 3-6 cm long with smooth skin, during ripening it forms many stripes of different colors: from white, to green, to yellow, to orange and finally to red, often maintaining more or less streaks marked. It is very beautiful both on an ornamental level and good to use on a culinary level, it is eaten in slices raw or in salads and, as mentioned, it is perfect to combine with crab and fish dishes in general. This Chili Pepper originates from the Caribbean where it was discovered in the 19th century, it was brought to the United States where it became very popular in Afro-American culture.
