The Pimenta da Neyde comes from Brazil and takes its name from Hidalgo da Neyde, the lucky Lady who found this beautiful Chili pepper in her backyard. It seems to be a cross between a Capsicum Chinense and a Capsicum Annuum. The plant is the queen of purple peppers, it is very robust and large, can easily exceed a meter and a half in height, the fruits are dark purple almost black, sometimes with lighter streaks, which make the plant and the fruit of a unique beauty. This Pepper is the father of various other crosses including the famous Pink Tiger. The flavor is very tasty and tasty, I recommend it mainly for fresh use, cut into slices. The spiciness is quite marked but not excessive, around 200,000 Shu.
